Icon Drabble
Title: What's this one then?

Spoilers: Illusions to old school who,Parting of the ways, The christmas invasion.
Summary:  How do you summarize 100 words?
A/N: From the challenge floating about~Write a drabble (100 words exactly) based on your current default icon. No changing it! Just write it as it comes; no beta-reading or mulling over. Any fandom or no fandom at all.

What's this one then?

Yet another face, younger than the last. Soon he'll look young enough to pass for his own grandson, wouldn't that just boggle the brain. 'I create myself'

Despite the lack of silver strands and laughter lines he still finds himself leaning on an invisible cane, from time to time.

All those years, all those faces. What's this one then, Ten? Rassilon, ten bodies, nine deaths. Nine nightmares he never managed to wake up from.

Well, no matter how many nightmares he doesn't make it through, he's happy knowing there's another something covered in slime somewhere, waiting to meet its own.

Wow, this drabble is just loaded with good lines. Boggle the brain, check. Imaginary cane, check. Nightmares not woken from, check. Slime-covered nightmares meeting him, double check. I'm not usually a drabble fan, but this was chock-full of awesome.

Catching up on my flist....

I really like this. Thinking back to how traumatic some of his deaths have been, it stands to reason he wouldn't just walk away from them with no aftereffects (nightmares). Nice job! Very well done.

^_^ Thanks. I think I got an easy deal with this icon, the words just seemed to flow. Although drabbles...not easy. You'd think 100 words wouldn't hurt so much.
